The all-new Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon have been a welcome breath of fresh air for those in the market for a new midsize truck since their debut a few months ago.
Featuring aerodynamic styling, improved fuel economy over its peers, and techno goodies a-plenty, these two mid-size trucks leap into the modern era, leaving the current offerings from Nissan and Toyota in the dust.
In the video above, our friend from up north Brian Makse, gets behind the wheel of a new 2WD Z71 Chevy Colorado in nasty Canadian winter conditions. Makse notes if General Motors keeps producing vehicles like this, the competition should be scared, and we tend to agree.
With the new Toyota Tacoma due out shortly it should be very interesting to see if GM’s new mid-sizers remain the darlings of the press that they are now.
