Monster Energy’s 800-horsepower Trophy Truck rips through Mexico

Monster Energy’s 800-horsepower Trophy Truck rips through Mexico

The Monster Energy team invades Ensenada, Mexico, with an 800-horsepower Chevy Silverado Baja 1000 Trophy Truck that drives off walls, through the dirt, powers down the street and across the occasional yard, and finally onto the beach in an attempt to complete a challenge nearly as tough as Baja.

Racer BJ Baldwin has to drive across Ensenada from the city to the beach in just 20 minutes. Ensenada, the traditional start to the Baja 1000, plays host to this frantic scramble as Baldwin hops in his desert racer and hits the urban environment. Jumps, spins, donuts, girls in bikinis, thrills, spills, and chilled beer are all to be found in this seven-minute pean to truck fury and electrolytes.
