2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS virtual test drive

2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS virtual test drive

Haven’t had a chance to get behind the wheel of the all-new 2016 Camaro SS yet? Not to worry as the good folks at Winding Road magazine have filmed their time behind the wheel POV style, so throw on a set of headphones and you will feel like you’re sitting in the driver’s seat — almost.

Winding Road joined Chevy’s FindNewRoads party in New Orleans, and had the new SS all to themselves for a 700 mile road trip to Dallas. Not only were they lucky enough to draw the V8-powered SS model, this one was equipped with a proper manual gearbox to boot.

As a refresher the small block LT1 powered 2016 Camaro SS pumps out 455 horsepower with 455 lb-ft of torque, hitting 60 mph from a rest in just 4 seconds flat. This is the most powerful Camaro SS ever.

You’ll be able to find the new 2016 Camaro for sale in our market shortly, along with thousands of amazing pre-owned Camaros as well.

Check out their full review here.
