We’ve seen some pretty interesting builds in our time but this bed-mounted turbo setup just may be one of the strangest of all. The team over at 1320video caught up with the owner of this unique truck and rode shotgun for a first hand account.
According to the trucks owner, he went for a bed-mounted setup to get the weight to the back of the truck, and with A/C and power-steering under the hood, there wasn’t enough room to add a turbo to the 5.7 liter LS1.
The bed-side down-pipe exhaust is a nice touch we must admit. Turn up your speakers, this thing sounds awesome.
