When it comes to street cars on the strip, there aren’t many cars that can compete against an automatic Z06, with the Z07 Track Pack, with a brutal launch and in the midst of an E85 binge.
With an ethanol tune, this C7 Corvette Z06 gains the hubris to take on Dodge Challengers, Cadillac CTS-Vs, and Dodge Vipers, one after another after nearly another.
Against the black Viper it runs a 10.43. Against the blue one, it’s a close race at 10.94 (the blue Viper ran a 10.91). Against the CTS-V, a race we’ve seen before, it manages a 10.88. And it’s against the orange Viper when it pulls off its best time: 10.36 at 131mph, proving this to be one hell of a quick ride.
