Chevy Pokes Even More Holes In Ford’s F-150 Aluminum Bed

Former NFL star Howie Long and Chevy engineer Eric Stanczak are committed to showing us that if you dump a load of blocks, and a toolbox into the beds of a new Silverado and Ford F-150, you’d have to have your head examined if you go the aluminum route.

That’s just our interpretation of course, but after seeing the damage a simple loaded-up toolbox can cause an aluminum bed, it’s easy to come to this conclusion.

According to Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet truck marketing director, it also demonstrates why Silverado is a smart choice for customers shopping for a truck.
