Silverado
Blacknasty Duramax does it all
Silverado
Bradenton, Florida’s JH Diesel might have built the ultimate all-around: a four-door, long bed Silverado 3500 dually that can haul, tow, transport people, do donuts off-road, crawl over ugly terrain, and then hit up the dragstrip on the way back home.
This 2007 Chevy Silverado had its engine thoroughly worked over before receiving a 68mm turbocharger, a 10mm Exergy stroker pump, 60% Exergy injectors, and a thorough tune by Danville Performance. 650 horsepower is the result, as well as a whopping 1,151 ft/lbs of torque.
The result: a quarter-mile time under 13 seconds, at over 100 miles per hour. (We wonder how fast it would be towing another Silverado.) And it’ll ruin a field faster than you can say “damn, that’s nasty.”
