6.2 liter Street Stalker package adds a healthy kick in the pants to your Silverado
Silverado
When Doug McClain decided it was time to give his 2013 Silverado 6.2L a little something extra, he turned to the tuners at Late Model Racecraft in Texas, who have been adding go-fast bits to trucks and cars for years now.
The team at LMR added their Silverado Street Stalker Package to Doug’s truck, which consists of a LMR Cold Air induction system, American Racing stainless steel 1 7/8 long tube headers with high flow cats, MSD 8.5mm spark plug wires, NGK Spark plugs, and an LMR 160 deg. thermostat topped off with a custom dyno tune.
The 6.2L Chevy Silverado is no slouch in stock form, putting down roughly 294 horsepower and 293 lb-ft of torque, but with the Street Stalker upgrade, you’re now making 334 horsepower and 358 lb-ft of torque. Sounds like a lot more fun to us for everyday driving.
LMR tells us this package runs for about $4,000 and you can reach out to them here if this is something you’re interested in doing this to your Silverado.
