Stroker Silverado shows off at speed

Stroker Silverado shows off at speed

This stroked-out Silverado has undergone a hell of a transformation.

The culmination of a long, intense project, this 2003 Silverado ditched its 4.3-liter V6 and manual transmission to a 383 stroker. Now it’s a carbureted powerhouse churning out 450 horsepower and 465 ft-lbs of torque.

A QuickTime Performance exhaust  with electric cutouts, and an Auburn Post rear end with 4.11 gears, round out the rest of the package. And a 700R4 automatic helps channel all that power down, in the form of long, smoky burnouts. This cool truck looks like riotous fun to hoon about.
