Chevy drops Drool-worthy 2016 Camaro Images, confirms performance specs

Camaro
A plethora of drool-worthy new Camaro images have been released by Chevy today. The all-new sports car will be hitting dealers in just a few weeks time, ready to start eating into sales of the current generation Mustang.
Chevrolet testing shows the all-new, 455-hp Camaro SS sprints from 0-60 mph in 4.0 seconds and covers the quarter-mile in 12.3 seconds, when equipped with the all-new eight-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission.
Those opting for something more cost effective and efficient will be delighted by a new 2.0L turbo SAE-certified at 275 hp with 295 lb-ft of torque, that delivers more than 30 mpg on the highway (GM-estimated), and can sprint from 0-60 mph in well under 6 seconds.
As a refresher, the sixth-generation Chevrolet Camaro offers higher levels of performance, technology and refinement and is designed to maintain the sporty car segment leadership earned over the past five years.
The Gen Six Camaro provides a faster, more nimble driving experience, enabled by an all-new, lighter architecture and a broader powertrain range. Six all-new powertrain combinations are offered, including a 2.0L Turbo, an all-new 3.6L V-6 and the LT1 6.2L V-8. Each engine is available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission.
