Big trucks bash the asphalt during burnout competition

Big trucks bash the asphalt during burnout competition

At the National Hot Rod Diesel Association’s World Finals, one treat is the burnout competition. It’s a fun interlude to the serious competition, a good way to blow off steam, or smoke at the very least, and it even comes with a $250 cash prize.

And among the Mopar power present—a bunch of Ram diesels, and even a Magnum wagon—are a few sweet Chevys thrown in for the mix. Watch the lifted Silverado 2500 with drag slicks put up a wall of smoke. Or the driver of the silver Silverado act as nonchalant as possible while his tires are roasting. It’s all good and fun—and even a Chevy Express plumber’s van gets in the action, with a coal-rolling smokeshow and a big-ass hood cutout for its air filter.

That’s one van you won’t want to climb into.
