Chevy dealer takes Reaper for a spin, melts some tires
Burnout
Thumbing through youtube the other day we came across this clip from Sherwood Park Chevrolet burning some tred off a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Reaper, and of course we had to share it because who doesn’t love a good burnout right?
With that being said we’re not sure we’d want to be the ones buying a truck that a dealer does burnouts in, would you?
For those unfamiliar with the Silverado Reaper, this is the famous Ken Lingenfelter’s answer to the Ford SVT Raptor.
The reaper begins life as a Silverado Z71, and adds modifications such as a new front clip (not to everyone’s tastes), high clearance bumper with a reinforced skid plate, 3-inch Fox Racing suspension system that provides 9.2 inches of travel in the front and 11.2 in the rear, Corsa Performance exhaust, custom “Reaper” 20-inch wheels wrapped in meaty 33-inch all-terrain tires, and signature Lingenfelter interior treatments and gauges.
If that’s not enough for you, customers can opt for 17-inch beadlock wheels, custom graphic wrap, and a even a Magnuson TSV1900 supercharger.
