Wild Silverado packs 1,000 horsepower, faces twin-turbo Mustang

There’s all kinds of good stuff happening in this video. There’s a Silverado with a crazy paint job—and a 418ci LS engine with a PT94 turbo, good for a thousand horsepower. There’s a Mustang GT with a 5.0-liter Coyote engine, with full stock internals and transmission—and it’s sporting twin Precision 6266 twin turbos running 11 psi, as well as 19-inch Mickey Thompson drag radials.

All of that leads toward a hell of a showdown.

And from a standstill, both are nearly neck-and-neck. But the Chevy pulls, and it pulls hard—and on its second round, it pulls away from the Mustang like it was standing still.
