Hennessey takes delivery of 2016 Camaro SS, throws it straight on the dyno

The wild-texan tuners over at Hennessey Performance have taken delivery of their first of what will be many sixth-generation Camaros, and it should come as no surprise that they immediately strapped the “Red Hot” beast for a dyno session day one.

According to HPE, stock baseline chassis dyno numbers on Dynojet are: 431 rear wheel hp and 427 rear wheel lb-ft torque. Pretty impressive for an engine that is rated at 455 hp at the motor.

So what’s in-store for the new Camaro from HPE, a supercharger setup? Let’s hope so.
