Brand-new 2016 Camaro SS hits the 10s

This Camaro is a mewling babe in the automotive world, just four days fresh from the showroom floor. And its owners wasted no time in getting it to hit the 10-second mark.

At bone stock, it managed to run 11.77 seconds in the quarter-mile at 119 mph. Which isn’t too bad.

But things can always go faster. With a tune, drag tires, and a heaping 150-shot of nitrous, it managed 10.6 seconds at 129mph—over a second’s worth of improvement, and ten miles faster to boot.
