Better Days Have Been Had: Drag Camaro Eats a Fence

Hubris gets you nowhere, folks. This drag-ready Camaro with a monster big-block is hungry for many things: speed, and chain-link fences.

It crashed leaving Cars and Coffee, of course, the time in Reno, Nevada. The Camaro pulls out onto the street nicely: with a big burnout, captured on camera by backwards-hatted appreciators. A couple hundred feet down the road, however, things go wrong. The Camaro slides into the side of the road, right into a fence.

The broken glass looks like something was real close to hitting the driver.

It’s a shame. With a tube-frame chassis, big rear tires and a hell of a huge motor, this thing must have been pretty quick on the strip. If it was to crash, it deserved to crash there.
