As expected, the 2016 Camaro SS can do a burnout just fine

Earlier this month Chevrolet put hundreds of auto-journos behind the wheel of new 2016 Camaros and set them loose on multi-state adventures. A billion images immediately went up on social media, but only just now are we starting to get video footage of a few extra curricular activities that occurred on some trips.

While some stuck to the plan, others snuck off to performance shops for quick dyno sessions, some hit local drag-strips, and others just wanted to see how well the new Camaro could smoke its tires.

As you can see from the video above, Motor Authority’s Joel Feder decided to see how well the new sixth-generation Camaro SS could do a burnout. Conclusion: It does a nice burnout.

Like Hot Rod, The Awesomer, and Winding Road, MA were lucky with blind key-grab, finding themselves in a LT1 powered SS.

For an even better burnout check out the clip below! Kudos to Ron Doron for this one.
