Big-block El Camino drives through in style

Big-block El Camino drives through in style

Smell that? It’s not burgers or hot dogs, but burnt-out tires with this El Camino—whose 572 big-block enables what we have to assume is a victory in this burnout contest.

The 1971 El Camino, with its classic black stripes, features an electric exhaust cutout and open headers, according to the video description—maybe electric cutouts on the stubby ends of headers? Either way, when the El Camino lines up squarely in front of the Hot Rod Diner, then lets her rip all the way across the parking lot, the result sounds great.
